Guru Prajwal Ratna Vajracharya from the Dance Mandal group will be traveling to Argentina and Chile with Lama Joshua Proto from the TRC this coming November to give vajra song and dance teachings from the Newar Charya Nritya lineage. The TRC successfully raised $1680 from our first fundraiser in September which is a bit over half of the expense we are covering for this tour. This second and last fundraiser will feature back to back empowerments for two beloved healing deities to cover the remaining expense for this teaching tour.

Amrita Amitabha
The Lord of the Lotus clan is Buddha Amitabha, the Buddha of infinite light, compassion, and life. Buddha Amitabha is the one that created and sustains the most popular of the Pure Lands, Sukhavati, the Pureland of Bliss. He arises for all beings, even those who cannot practice, vowing to empty Samsara until not even one being suffers in the Ocean of Delusion.
There are many forms of Buddha Amitabha. The Amrita Amitabha is a healing form that is held in only a couple of traditions and combines the Pureland aspect of Amitabha with the healing and long-life of Amitayus. It is a very rarely given teaching.
If you’re interested in the Purelands or learning to do healing through tantric practice, this is a practice you wouldn't want to miss.
Sambhogakaya Medicine Buddha
All of the Buddhas of the Three times arise endlessly to meet the needs of all beings, and to help them discover liberation.
One of these great Victors is called Sangye Menla, of Medicine Buddha. There are endless traditions of his practice, but in essence, they all relate to his vows to cure the diseases at the root of the two obscurations.
On the relative, these are the actual diseases of body, speech and mind faced by beings in Samsara. Ultimately, he offers the cure to the malady of ignorance, and the attainment of Buddhahood.
Of his many traditions, two of them are found in the Termas of Adzom Drugpa, one in his Nirmanakaya form, and the other in his Sambhogakaya form.
In this form we can joyfully transform all diseases, gain incomparable wisdom, and embody the Union of all the Buddhas of the three times.
The Sambhogakaya form in the Osal Dorje Sangdzo (The Secret Treasury of Vajra Clear Light) from the Adzom's lineage is offered only rarely and has never been translated into English until now by Lama Sherab, for the very first time it is available to non-Tibetan speakers of the world, so don’t miss this empowerment to courageously dispel disease and overcome the provocations of harmful spirits, for the benefit of all beings!
