इवेंट के बारे में
Avalokiteshvara is one of the most important bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism, embodying infinite compassion and mercy. The name roughly translates to "The Lord Who Looks Down" in Sanskrit, referring to their role in watching over and helping all sentient beings.
In Buddhist tradition, Avalokiteshvara is known for making a vow to help all beings achieve enlightenment, stating they would not enter final nirvana until all sentient beings were freed from suffering. They are often depicted with multiple heads and arms, symbolizing their ability to see all suffering and reach out to help in many ways simultaneously.
Lama Sherab will give the empowerment of Avalokitesvhara from Nyala Pema Dudul's terma this December, to know the Lord of Compassion in an experiential way.
