Driven by an indomitable spirit, she fled, renouncing the world and seeking a truth she sensed lay beyond the confines of her life.

The Lotus-Born Guru

Her journey led her to Padmasambhava, a legendary master known as the Lotus-Born Guru. Though initially skeptical of this strange man with his long hair and untamed beard, Yeshe Tsogyal surrendered herself to the path of Dharma.  Padmasambhava recognized her potential and initiated her into the secret teachings of the Vajrayana.
